The Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Cashier/Receptionist in Basildon to join a dedicated customer service team. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, as the successful candidate will be the primary contact for patient fare reimbursements, manage cash and banking for parking and catering teams, and handle general inquiries. Key responsibilities include training staff to comply with mandatory requirements, assisting in departmental asset management, and operating the Taxi booking system while addressing any related service issues.

Candidates must demonstrate strong time management abilities and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations, as well as experience in administration and IT. The position involves occasional face-to-face interactions with patients, requiring sensitivity and confidence in dealing with potentially distressed individuals. Full training will be provided for the specific systems used.
