The Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 8b Principal Practitioner Psychologist for their Women's Secure Blended Service (WSBS) at Ardenleigh. This role involves joining a diverse and respected psychological therapies team to provide leadership and specialist clinical input within a well-established multidisciplinary framework. The WSBS is known for its gender-sensitive, trauma-informed care model and focuses on co-production to enhance service delivery for women with complex mental health needs and high-risk behaviors.

Candidates should possess extensive experience in addressing psychological difficulties, neurodiversity, and risks associated with adult mental health. The position includes substantial leadership responsibilities, collaborating with a consultant psychologist and other psychological professionals. Ideal applicants will have a background in service development, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to promoting a psychologically safe environment for staff and clients alike.
