CASELOAD FAMILY MENTAL HEALTH MULTI-DISCIPLINARY
The CAMHS Early Help Practitioner role at Livewell Southwest in Plymouth is a full-time position aimed at addressing the mental health needs of children and young people through early intervention. The practitioner will join an established team within the CAMHS Early Help Pathway, focusing on providing assessments and targeted interventions, adhering to the I-THRIVE model. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based interventions, supporting multi-agency efforts for mental health planning, engaging in consultations, and providing training to community services and schools. The role emphasises the promotion of resilience, prevention, and timely access to mental health support for families in the community.

Applicants must be a registered clinician, as the role involves direct clinical work with children and families, ongoing assessment, and participation in clinical governance activities. The position requires excellent communication skills, a dedication to maintaining confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high care standards while actively contributing to the cultural change in first contact services for children's mental health.
