The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is looking for a Director of Improvement to lead a transformative improvement programme aimed at enhancing health outcomes and experiences for patients, carers, and staff. This role involves setting a positive tone for change, collaborating with various departments, and developing a strategic improvement delivery plan. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience at the Director level, preferably within the NHS or a similarly complex organisation, and should demonstrate creativity and a questioning mindset to innovate systems, processes, and performance levels.

The Director will work closely with the Board and Clinical Group Chief Executives to create a comprehensive Improvement Strategy aligned with the Trust's goals. Responsibilities include applying evidence-based improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving innovation across the organisation, particularly in clinical processes. The position provides a unique opportunity to lead a restructured Improvement Department and engage with staff at all levels to promote a proactive approach to change management and excellence in healthcare delivery. Candidates interested in this valuable opportunity are encouraged to apply.
