The Deputy Service Manager - Protons at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester will play a critical role in the operational management of the Radiotherapy service. This front-line managerial position involves leading a dedicated team, supporting clinical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient experiences, and deputizing for the Radiotherapy Clinical Service Manager as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing performance targets, identifying service development initiatives, and participating in cross-Divisional projects to enhance service delivery and productivity.

Candidates must possess strong operational knowledge, excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include financial management, human resource oversight, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires a motivated individual who is committed to driving continuous service improvements while maintaining a patient-centered focus.
