The role of "Peer Support Worker Outreach" with Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Stafford is designed for individuals with lived experience of the Criminal Justice System or custody. The primary objective of this position is to support individuals transitioning from prison back into the community by sharing personal narratives and guiding them through their recovery journeys. The Peer Support Worker will work closely with service users, utilizing their own experiences to help these individuals engage with services, establish recovery goals, and develop identities outside of the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities include providing one-on-one and group support, assisting service users in identifying their strengths and interests, and facilitating access to community resources. The role emphasises collaborative work with colleagues, participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings, and integrating recovery goals into trust care plans.
