One Health Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Consultant specializing in Hip and Knee surgery to enhance its Orthopaedic Team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role within a private or NHS setting, possess necessary qualifications (FRCS {orth}), and be on the GMC specialist register without any restrictions. The role involves assessing and performing surgeries on NHS patients, with appointments taking place in various outreach clinics across Brigg, Hull, and Lincolnshire, requiring the consultant to travel to different independent sector hospitals.

Candidates should currently hold a substantive NHS post or have previously worked as a substantive NHS consultant for at least three years. A professional demeanor, an empathetic approach to patient communication, and a strong understanding of patient confidentiality are essential. The selection process includes an onboarding procedure and approval from the Clinical Governance Lead, and practicing privileges must be secured for each hospital where procedures are conducted.
