The "Specialist CAMHS Practitioner" role at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust in Wembley involves providing specialized mental health services to children and young people as part of a multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. The practitioner will work autonomously within established guidelines, conducting clinical assessments and treatments, developing personalized care plans based on evidence-based methods, and routinely evaluating therapy progress using appropriate outcome measures. The role requires providing supervision and consultation to less experienced professionals and collaborating with families in the treatment process.

Additionally, the practitioner must maintain high standards of clinical record-keeping, stay informed about relevant legislation and policies, and participate in ongoing professional development. The position carries responsibility for assessing and managing clinical risks and ensuring adherence to NHS protocols and trust policies while fostering a safe and effective environment for clients and colleagues.
