The Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate and organized Bereavement Team Coordinator and Support Worker to join their bereavement care team based at Woodland House at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital. This role involves providing administrative support, including coordinating patient appointments, maintaining records, and facilitating communication within the team, while also offering direct emotional support to families experiencing pregnancy loss or the death of a baby. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal and multitasking skills, be flexible and resilient under pressure, and be prepared to work in both standalone and collaborative settings across the Trust.

The position requires both administrative efficiency and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations, as the post holder will assist bereaved families with memory-making and support clinical staff in providing compassionate care. This role also includes participation in bereavement-related events and may involve working weekends and holidays as needed.
