The Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Theatre Scheduler for the ENT department in Crewe. In this role, the successful candidate will support the established Scheduling team by organizing theatre lists, contacting patients for pre-operative assessments, and managing admissions. Key responsibilities include adding patients to the surgical waiting list, ensuring timely scheduling of procedures within RTT targets, and collaborating with clinicians to optimize theatre operations.

The ideal applicant should possess strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in the Trust's PCS Patient system and familiarity with Excel or Theatreman being advantageous. A high level of attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. The role requires independent decision-making and sound judgment, with a total of 37.5 hours of work each week, Monday to Friday.
