The Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Band 8a Clinical/Counseling Psychologist for a two-day per week secondment/fixed-term position within the Early Intervention for Psychosis (EIP) service in Bristol. The successful candidate will work closely with the current lead psychologist, providing integrated clinical and counseling psychology interventions, assessments, and tailored treatments for service users awaiting psychological therapy. Responsibilities also include offering consultation and supervision to multidisciplinary team members, facilitating training in psychological therapies, and participating in service development, research, and governance to enhance patient management.

Qualified candidates should be experienced, enthusiastic, and committed to the role, which involves not only clinical responsibilities but also aspects of management and training, such as supervising trainees and less experienced staff.
