The role of Clinical Trials Assistant at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Basingstoke is a part-time position (30 hours per week, over 4 days) aimed at established healthcare or administrative staff seeking to expand their experience in research delivery. The successful candidate will support a multidisciplinary team of research nurses and practitioners in managing both commercial and non-commercial clinical trials. Key responsibilities include data management, administrative tasks, clinical support, collecting trial data, and assisting in the setup and management of trials while adhering to Good Clinical Practice and standard operating procedures.

Candidates do not need prior research experience, as full training will be provided. Ideal applicants will possess a proactive attitude, the ability to work well under pressure, and strong time management skills. The role emphasises teamwork and a flexible approach in a fast-paced environment to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.
