The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a full-time Safeguarding Children Practitioner to join their Safeguarding Team, primarily working within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Portsmouth. This role is ideal for experienced nurses or midwives with public health registration who are eager to enhance their safeguarding skills. The practitioner will provide key safeguarding knowledge, advice, and clinical expertise while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the welfare of children and young people remains the focus.

The role involves contributing to high-quality safeguarding practices, supporting multi-agency decision-making, and advising on safeguarding issues within both the MASH and the wider healthcare system. The post holder will work alongside a corporate safeguarding team and partner agencies to promote early intervention and effective safeguarding measures. Additionally, they will assist in developing safeguarding practices across the organisation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and improving outcomes for vulnerable populations.
