A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Childrens Haematology and Oncology team as a band 3 clinical support worker. There are 2 whole time positions in the Childrens Haematology and Oncology day unit and 2 whole time positions on ward L31, Childrens Haematology and Oncology in-patient ward. The highly specialised multi-disciplinary team provide holistic and expert care to children and young people undertaking stem cell transplants, cancer care and care for patients with non-malignant haematology conditions. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is looking for a new challenge and to progress in their career. The successful candidate will join an experienced and dynamic team who are committed to improving the experience and treatment of young people. You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work well within a team. This job advertisement is for full time positions although part time applications will be considered. Specific unit training is not essential as this will be provided.
