Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, dexterity, and numeracy skills, with computer literacy being beneficial; however, full training will be provided. The position requires manual handling and the use of mechanical equipment, so candidates must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Working within the busy Receipt & Distribution department, our team are the single point for all deliveries made to the John Radcliffe hospital site. Along with ensuring that deliveries are being made to the correct location, the team are responsible for then delivering items to the teams across the clinical site and completing all associated paperwork. This is a physical role entailing manual handling and some operation of mechanical handling equipment.
