The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Colorectal Cancer Pathway Navigator to enhance the patient experience for individuals on the suspected colorectal cancer pathway. The role involves working closely with clinical and operational teams to manage and expedite patient diagnostics, acting as a primary contact for patients and their families, and coordinating communication between primary and secondary care services. The candidate will be responsible for scheduling investigations, appointments, and facilitating multi-disciplinary team discussions, all while ensuring that waiting time targets are met and that patients receive the necessary support throughout their healthcare journey.
