An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NQP or experienced Band Speech and Language Therapist to join our Speech and Language Therapy Early Years Service at Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) NHS Trust.
We are looking for a speech and language therapist with enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal and team-working skills who are seeking to develop and broaden their clinical experience of working with preschool children in a dynamic and supportive team.

To provide in conjunction with the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Team an accessible, person centred, effective, needs led SLT service to the 0-5 age population and their families.
To work with increasing independence to provide assessment, diagnosis, suitable intervention and discharge for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) on the caseload.
To work closely with children, parents, carers and multi-disciplinary team members across Health, Social Services, Education and Children's Services to identify and support children's Speech, Language and Communication Needs as relevant to the post.
o To understand and meet professional and legal SEND responsibilities outlined in the Children and Families Act 2including contributing to statutory assessments of special educational needs and delivery of Speech and Language Therapy provision as specified in children's Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
To maintain accountability for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice from senior colleagues as appropriate.
