Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Sister/Charge Nurses for the Cancer Assessment Unit (CAU) as part of their Acute Oncology Service, offering positions for both 30 hours and 37.5 hours per week. The role involves leading the care of acutely unwell cancer patients, managing the triage of patients via phone, and providing assessments and treatments for those undergoing various therapies such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Responsibilities also include supporting the ward manager with administrative duties, coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team, administering chemotherapy, and working shifts that cover weekends and emergency support when the CAU is closed.
