The link between education and delivering the highest standards of care and best patient outcomes is indisputable. As the post holder, you will be a crucial member of the education and development team, working within the admin and clerical function, supporting the Clinical Education Team to deliver high-quality education across a range of learner groups. The post holder will contribute towards the quality, efficient administration services provided across the Trust in relation to education, working closely with various teams and services to ensure planning is appropriately structured and communicated. This role, among others, acts as the first line of contact for the Clinical Education Team via telephone or email and is detrimental to the day-to-day operations of the service.
The role will support the administration elements of inward and outward-facing education delivery to a range of learner groups. Duties could include room bookings and management, managing bookings onto course and register generation, arranging diaries, using conference or video calling software (such as Microsoft teams), timetable formation, information dissemination to both faculty and learner groups, fielding queries related to education and signposting as required, use of the Trust learner management system to maintain up to date training records, aid in room preparation and resource requirements (printing, laminating, binding, photocopying). The role is also crucial to the responsiveness of the service and will be one of the first points of contact for the service via telephone or email, ensuring that correspondence is appropriately escalated to the relevant parties in a timely fashion to maintain an efficient service. The post holder is expected to work to standard operating practices for routine workloads/workstreams to ensure consistency of outcomes. There is scope for supporting audits and adhoc projects, contributing to development of the services provided alongside the wider team.
