CANCER COPD MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS RESPIRATORY MEDICINE
The Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Research Coordinator to join the interventional bronchoscopy research team at Royal Brompton Hospital. This role involves conducting research studies in respiratory medicine, particularly focusing on early feasibility trials and pivotal studies involving patients with COPD and lung cancer. Candidates should possess prior experience in clinical trials, while experience in a respiratory clinical setting is preferable but not mandatory, as training will be provided.

The Research Coordinator will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and will primarily be based at the Royal Brompton Hospital, although some tasks may require travel to other hospital sites in London. Key responsibilities include supporting the research team with patient screening and recruitment, patient communication, organizing follow-up visits, and data collection and documentation.
