The Healthcare Assistant - QMH Endoscopy at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust in Sidcup will support the nursing team in the Endoscopy decontamination area, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of endoscopy equipment. Key responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting equipment, conducting regular inspections, maintaining accurate records of decontamination processes, and collaborating with the endoscopy team to ensure timely availability of sanitized equipment. The role emphasises providing a calm and welcoming environment for patients while adhering to established protocols and documentation standards, including the WHO safety checklist.

The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment and assist in quality improvement initiatives through audits and knowledge sharing. This position requires valid right to work documents in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
