The Children and Young People's Community Nurse position with Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust in Brighton & Hove involves working within a collaborative and integrated team to provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people in the community. The role requires a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in child care who can work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of children, promoting health and wellbeing, collaborating with various health professionals and agencies, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and best practices in accordance with Trust and national standards.

The position is available either full-time or part-time, with a requirement to work seven days a week across West and East Sussex. Key tasks include providing nursing management, teaching families about care regimes, maintaining thorough documentation, and serving as a resource and role model for other nursing professionals. Ongoing education and training are encouraged to enhance clinical practice and ensure the delivery of safe, effective nursing care.
