Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to lead the Paediatric Psychology Team within their Child and Family Psychology and Therapies Service in Caerleon. The role involves providing strategic vision and clinical leadership for a team that supports various pediatric services, including diabetes management, weight management, and recovery from illness, with potential expansions into neonatal care and epilepsy. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for working with young people and families, expertise in addressing the psychological needs of children with chronic health conditions, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other organisations.

Key responsibilities include overseeing clinical practice, providing supervision and training, and being actively involved in developing psychological resources across pediatric specialties. The position emphasises a caring and supportive working culture, promoting continuous professional development and staff wellbeing. While fluency in Welsh is desirable, it is not mandatory, and candidates who speak either English or Welsh are encouraged to apply.
