Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK, is looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Care Assistant at Ascot Grange Care Home in Sunninghill. The role involves delivering high standards of personal care, assisting residents with their hygiene needs, recognizing clinical risk areas such as weight loss and pressure sores, and ensuring the dignity and respect of each resident. Candidates do not need prior experience, as Avery offers a comprehensive induction and training program, although effective communication skills and a respectful attitude towards residents are essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Other responsibilities will include:
Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.

Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.

Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.

Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.
