The University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Systems Support Officer to join their Clinical Systems Team. This role is crucial for providing day-to-day support for key clinical systems within the Plymouth Health Community, including system administration, general maintenance, and direct management of Clinical System Support Officers. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of at least one of the Trust’s clinical systems, have the ability to work independently, and effectively facilitate meetings at various staff levels.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the maintenance of clinical systems, analyzing and resolving technical issues, conducting system testing, and ensuring compliance with Information Governance standards. The role also involves training end-users, maintaining user access databases, and contributing to the development of long-term clinical system strategies. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the post holder will interact with various stakeholders and team members across the Trust and NHS. Preference will be given to internal Trust staff and those on 'Priority' or 'At Risk' status, particularly if they have relevant recent experience.
