Band Specialty Doctor: £55,825 to £90,000 a year  FIXED TERM

We are seeking a Specialty Doctor to support us on our improvement and transformation journey.

This is an exciting time in for the Trust as a newly established organisation, combining the expertise and services of multiple NHS providers to deliver high-quality healthcare across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

The post-holder will be based at Parklands Hospital, Basingstoke and will work on Beechwood ward, which is a functional older adult ward comprising of 18 beds.

The successful candidate will be working alongside a Specialist Registrar, an Associate Specialist, a core trainee and two foundation year doctors. The candidate will be responsible for providing clinical input on the ward as well as leading on clinical reviews, conducting CPAs and white board meetings as well as supporting weekly MDT meetings. It is expected that the candidate will also provide support to the wider OPMH MDT. The wider OPMH CMHT team comprises of a matron, ward manager, hospital social worker, discharge coordinator, occupational therapists, psychologists and administrators.
