The Trust Grade Registrar (ST3+) position in Care of the Elderly at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, is a full-time locum role with a commitment of 40 hours per week and on-call responsibilities as part of the General Medicine Rota. The successful candidate will be involved in the admission, clerking, and day-to-day care of patients on both the HCOP and General Medicine wards, providing senior clinical support to resident doctors. While the role is not a formal training post, it includes opportunities for study leave, participation in an active postgraduate program, and involvement in teaching and quality improvement projects.

The position is fixed-term for twelve months, with flexibility for candidates who cannot work full-time, and modifications to the role's content can be discussed individually. The typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and applicants can expect additional remuneration for on-call commitments. This role aims to facilitate professional development through lectures, medical meetings, and participation in audits, making it a supportive environment for career advancement in elderly care medicine.
