The Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner role in North Birmingham's Neighbourhood Mental Health Team offers an exciting part-time opportunity to work within GP practices as part of the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. This position is integral to the ongoing transformation of community mental health services, aimed at enhancing primary care teams in line with the NHS Long Term Plan. The successful candidate will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver mental health triage, assessment, and intervention, including nurse prescribing, to promote psychosocial wellbeing for local service users.

Key responsibilities include identifying the needs of service users and advising on appropriate interventions, while ensuring effective communication across both primary care and the mental health foundation. This role also involves participation in local neighbourhood multidisciplinary teams to facilitate support for individuals and their families, underscoring the importance of teamwork in achieving optimal outcomes for the community served.
