As Company Secretary the successful candidate will ensure that the organisation is compliant with corporate legislation; constitutional and regulatory requirements and best practice and provide legal scrutiny and expertise across all aspects of the organisation.
Responsibilities also include the provision of effective and efficient service management of corporate office services. Board and Membership Council and Committee administration and support. The role will include the review of various types of contract including service and partnership ones and being responsible for insurance arrangements.
Candidates will need to be educated to Master Degree level or hold a relevant professional qualification and be able to demonstrate significant experience in a corporate governance role. It is likely that they will hold Membership of the Chartered Governance Institute. Previous experience of working in a healthcare environment is not essential.
The post is for 22.5 hours per week.

Job Purpose
To be the Company Secretary of Your Healthcare CIC and contribute generally as a member of The Base (The Executive Team).
Ensures the delivery of corporate governance strategies in alignment with YH strategic objectives, governance, marketing and public relations priorities.
Contributes to the strategic development and commercial development of YH.
Responsible for ensuring Your Healthcares compliance with corporate legislation, constitutional and regulatory requirements and best practice.
Responsible for the legal and regulatory compliance generally and those associated with mergers and acquisitions activity.
Responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Board, Board Committees, the Membership Council and other Committees and their administration and support.
