The Clinical Optometrist role at CHEC in Worthing is designed for optometrists with at least 12 months of post-registration experience and current GOC registration, who are eager to delve into the clinical aspects of optometry. In this position, you will assess patients' needs for cataract surgery, discuss the associated risks and benefits, and provide ongoing reassurance and care throughout their journey. You will collaborate with a clinical team to deliver high-quality eyecare and may have opportunities for additional training, including YAG laser procedures, depending on local service availability.
