Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join their multidisciplinary Adult Eating Disorders Service in Knowsley & St Helens. The role involves working collaboratively with a team of professionals, including psychologists and dietitians, to provide assessment, treatment, and support for adults experiencing eating disorders. Responsibilities include managing a clinical caseload, conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and liaising with other healthcare services to ensure comprehensive care delivery. The practitioner will also supervise unqualified staff, participate in risk assessments, and contribute to clinical decision-making within a recovery-focused model.

The position is based at the Knowsley Resource & Recovery Centre, with standard office hours from Monday to Friday. Candidates should have a strong interest in therapeutic interventions and be qualified to mentor students.
