ANTICOAGULATION NHS VENOUS THROMBOEMBOLISM
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist in Venous Thromboembolism and Anticoagulation to join their Anticoagulation team at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The successful candidate will act as an independent practitioner with specialized knowledge in managing anticoagulation therapies, including Warfarin and Direct Acting Oral Anticoagulants. Responsibilities include providing expert care within the Trust's ICE advisory services, VTE ambulatory pathway, and Anticoagulation clinic, while also leading safety initiatives and improvement projects related to anticoagulation and VTE prevention.

Candidates should possess extensive experience in healthcare governance, education, audit, and incident investigation, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality services to patients at risk of thrombotic disease. This role demands a compassionate and proactive approach to patient care in a dynamic and busy clinical environment.
