                                                    Health Care Support Worker with Lincolnshire Community Health Service NHS Trust in Countywide

                                                     Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health (N-LiSH) services have an opportunity for a healthcare support worker to join their countywide team. This post is mostly based at Lindon House, Lincoln, but there will be an expectation to support other clinics when service demands require. Travel time and expenses are supported.   The role is varied and requires candidates to be non-judgemental and adhere to strict confidentiality policy. Experience within healthcare including venepuncture skills is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.     HCSW:   Sets up clinical rooms, chaperones specialist practitioners within clinical examinations and handles and processes samples.   Provides support on an ad hoc basis for reception and central booking line.   Undertakes stock control, ordering of sundries and stock taking duties.   Ensures all infection control policies are met with by ensuring cleaning duties and clinical waste duties are appropriately met.   Will be taught microscopy skills to support in house diagnostic services.
