The Head Chef role at Avery Healthcare's Abbey Court Care Home in Heath Hayes, Cannock, involves managing and leading a culinary team to provide high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals for the residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing modified diets, ordering supplies, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring safe work practices.
As the Head Chef, your focus will be to manage and lead a culinary team that provides nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service to the residents. You will be responsible for preparing modified diets, placing food orders within agreed budget limits, supervising and directing the work of other kitchen staff, and practicing safe systems of work. The ideal candidate should have two years' experience managing a culinary team in the care or hospitality sectors, hold a relevant catering qualification, and demonstrate a passion and commitment to delivering high-quality culinary standards.
