The Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Speech and Language Therapy Assistant (SLTA) to join their team in Huntingdon. The role involves providing intervention to children with various speech, language, and communication needs as directed by a speech and language therapist, as well as offering essential administrative support. The SLTA will implement and modify therapy programs, monitor progress, and manage clinical and administrative tasks, which include updating case records, arranging appointments, and preparing treatment materials.

The position emphasises effective communication with children and other professionals, adherence to confidentiality and data protection laws, and participation in ongoing professional development. Additionally, the SLTA will assist in training sessions for parents and other professionals and will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards within the service.
