The Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant in Clinical Oncology, specializing in Head & Neck and Acute Oncology Service, for an 8 PA post starting as soon as possible and lasting for six months. The role involves providing radiotherapy and systemic therapy to patients with head and neck tumors and supporting multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. Candidates should possess full GMC registration and ideally hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Oncology or be within six months of obtaining it. The Trust fosters a supportive environment, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements, and offers a comprehensive Consultant Development program aimed at enhancing leadership and management skills.

The successful applicant will work alongside a team of specialist nurses, clinical trials nurses, and therapy radiographers in a research-active department utilizing advanced radiotherapy techniques. Responsibilities include maintaining high clinical standards, contributing to clinical research, and participating in the ongoing development of the department's services.
