King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Specialist Optometrist to join their team in London due to a maternity leave vacancy. The role is ideal for both experienced optometrists and newly qualified candidates, with training provided to enhance skills across various specialties, including paediatrics, low vision, post-operative cataract care, and glaucoma. Responsibilities include managing a complex clinical caseload within a multi-disciplinary team, providing comprehensive optometric care, and ensuring the efficient running of the optometry and ophthalmology services.

The Specialist Optometrist will work autonomously, conducting high-level assessments, developing treatment plans, and overseeing patient management throughout their care journey.
