This role is for a qualified chef to work as a Bank Chef at Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. You will have the opportunity to work with fresh seasonal food, have a better work-life balance, and make a difference in the lives of the residents.

As a Bank Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavorsome, and well-balanced menus while working closely with residents to tailor the menus to their preferences. You will help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes, and help create a warm, efficient, and fun environment. You will also be responsible for managing stock control, completing regular audits, and assisting in leading and motivating a team.

NEED TO HAVE

A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent Experience in helping lead and inspire a team A good understanding of nutrition Experience of working with fresh seasonal food The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home Good understanding of HACCP
