The Team Lead Physiotherapist for Frailty at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is a dynamic role aimed at providing operational and clinical leadership to the Frailty Team. This position, which is a 34-hour per week, 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, emphasises specialized care for older patients experiencing frailty and general medical needs. Key responsibilities include delivering evidence-based physiotherapy services, managing a diverse team of physiotherapists and support staff, and facilitating seamless patient discharge processes across various clinical settings, including the Emergency Department and inpatient wards.

In addition to clinical duties, the role involves supervision, education, and training of staff, ensuring high standards of patient care through advanced assessment and management strategies. The Team Lead will also participate in audits and research to support evidence-based practice and engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration to enhance service delivery.
