The Resuscitation Officer at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in Aylesbury is responsible for delivering a comprehensive Resuscitation Service across the Trust, operating under the guidance of the Resuscitation Lead. This role involves developing, delivering, and evaluating a resuscitation curriculum in line with established policies and protocols, as well as providing educational programs on resuscitation for all Trust staff. The officer will also advise on resuscitation practices, participate in commissioning equipment, and support compliance with national initiatives and directives related to resuscitation.

Additionally, the Resuscitation Officer will engage in training all grades of staff, ensure the implementation of Trust policies, and conduct risk assessments. The position spans across two acute hospital sites and community areas, demanding clinical experience in emergency care and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Collaboration with colleagues to foster teamwork and high standards in clinical practice is essential, as well as representing the Resuscitation Service when needed.
