This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves providing high-quality personal care and support to residents, while ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and health and social care professionals.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asaSeniorCare Assistant will be tosupport and work alongside the Care team todeliverhigh standardsof personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive,andinclusive environmentfor residents,visitorsand staff.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supportingresidents with their medication requirements.
- Undertakingstaff supervisions and supportingstaff with their development whererequired.
- Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
