The role of Healthcare Assistant at Stratton Community Hospital involves supporting a 17-bedded ward primarily catering to elderly patients, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with clinical care as directed by Registered Nurses, performing duties under indirect supervision, and attending to the individual needs and rights of patients. Flexibility is required to support other facilities like Launceston Community Hospital based on service demands. The position includes various shifts, including long days and night duties, to ensure continuous 24-hour care.
