Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Band 5 Recovery Nurse/Theatre Practitioner to join their full-time team in the Treatment Centre Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) in Winchester. The role involves providing skilled support to the clinical team, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment for patient treatment, and addressing any issues as they arise. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated, thriving in a supportive clinical environment focused on high-quality care.

The position also entails mentoring junior staff and students while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Opportunities for continuing professional development (CPD) through various courses and online learning will be provided. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Band 5 RGN/ODP who would like to further their professional development and work full-time in our Treatment Centre Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU).

We are looking for self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills who thrive in a well-supported clinical environment, that aims for excellency of care under our Trust values and vision.

We offer support for CPD through a range of courses, study days and online learning.

Staff Nurse - TC Theatres' recovery

Providing skilled support to the clinical team, ensuring necessary / appropriate equipment isavailable for treatment needs of the patients and reporting any faults or issues appropriately.

Skills to work across various areas within theatre, recovery within own competence.

Mentoring junior members of staff and students

Supporting colleagues within recovery and the multidisciplinary team as necessary.

Communicating any changes within the theatre list to all departments in the TC following teambrief.
