The South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual for the role of Fit Testing / Infection Prevention and Control Support in Middlesbrough. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the safety of both staff and patients while contributing to the Trust's Healthcare Associated Infection improvement strategy. The role involves being part of a small team, providing support activities that include conducting fit testing for FFP3 masks and offering training and auditing services related to infection prevention and control.

The position emphasises collaboration and a willingness to explore innovative practices within a supportive 5-day service environment. Responsibilities will encompass fit testing to ensure appropriate mask usage, as well as conducting a variety of audits, such as sluice and environmental audits, to uphold infection prevention standards.
