We are currently seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist at band 6 level to join our Integrated Stroke Early Supported Discharge and Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service.
Our integrated service provides stroke rehabilitation and community neuro rehabilitation support to service users with complex needs.
As a band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will have the chance to work with a team of highly skilled & experienced professionals including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, Specialist Nurses and Neuro Rehab assistants. Together we strive to deliver outstanding care to our service users.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of service users & the broader community. You will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload across the North of Cambridgeshire & shaping the service to support the development of your colleagues. You will provide comprehensive assessments & deliver evidence-based specialist neuro occupational therapy programs to support patients with physical, cognitive & psychosocial needs. You will work collaboratively with the Multidisciplinary Team.
If you are a highly motivated & adaptable individual with excellent clinical skills & knowledge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You should be comfortable working in different settings, including patients' homes, wards or community gyms and using virtual consultations to manage your caseload. We will provide you with a smartphone and laptop to support you in your work.

Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs.
