The role of Local Neonatal Safety Support Champion at Public Health Wales in Cardiff is a part-time secondment position aimed at enhancing the safety and quality of maternity and neonatal care within NHS Wales. Applicants must currently be employed by Swansea Bay University Health Board and should have their line manager's approval before applying. The Champion will work closely with the MatNeo Safety Support Programme leads and clinical support to implement improvement initiatives, engage with local stakeholders, and facilitate effective change within their designated Health Board.

Candidates should possess experience in patient safety and service improvement, along with skills in influencing, teaching, and data management. A commitment to continuous learning and the ability to demonstrate practical examples of improvement efforts are essential. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable, although candidates who speak English and/or Welsh are encouraged to apply.
