University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 2 Ward Clerk for the Discharge Lounge team within the Clinical Site team. The role involves facilitating patient discharges in a safe and comfortable environment while managing an average of 400+ patients monthly. The successful candidate will need strong teamwork and communication skills to liaise effectively with wards, the clinical site team, and pharmacy, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key responsibilities include greeting and directing patients and relatives, processing patient information through Medway, maintaining electronic and paper records, and ensuring high standards of patient care aligned with the Trust’s core values. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop organisational and management skills, as well as actively participate in implementing improvements within the Discharge Lounge. The working hours are from 09:00 to 17:00.
