The role of Band 7 Specialist Community and Primary Care Network (PCN) Dietitian at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers a fixed-term position for 8 months, focusing on delivering dietetic services within the West Byfleet PCN and the Community Dietetics Team. The successful candidate will manage a clinical caseload while collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide nutrition support and enteral feeding for patients in care homes and community settings. The role requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously, alongside contributing to dietetic education programs and protocol development.

The position entails two main components: 0.6 WTE as a Specialist Community Dietitian, delivering services to in-patients and community-based patients; and 0.4 WTE as a Specialist PCN Dietitian, responsible for clinical assessments and leading dietetic clinics within the PCN. Candidates should possess experience across various clinical dietetic areas, be flexible and confident in their practice, and have a valid UK license along with access to a car. This role is pivotal in shaping and improving dietetic care pathways aligned with the health needs of the local population.
