Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Fetal Medicine Unit Midwife who is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to birthing families. The role is rotational, including responsibilities across various acute areas of the women's center, with the opportunity to work in a diverse maternity service that supports around 7,500 births annually. The candidate will be part of a skilled, multi-disciplinary team that provides tertiary-level care for women with complex pregnancies, managing high-risk pregnancy clinics, bereavement care, and invasive procedures, among other duties.

The post holder will play a vital role in delivering and evaluating midwifery care while adhering to professional standards set by the World Health Organisation and the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Responsibilities include providing clinical supervision to junior colleagues, maintaining high standards of care, participating in education and professional development initiatives, and contributing to a supportive learning environment for students and staff. The position also involves managerial tasks, risk management, and data recording, ensuring the safe delivery of maternity services aligned with clinical guidelines and best practices.
