We are looking to recruit a Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our well established Out of Hours Team based at Manchester Royal Infirmary. An exciting opportunity has risen for an experienced and enthusiastic Nurse to join our nursing team. You will have the opportunity to work and provide high standards of care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions as well as covering the senior nurse bleep during night time.

An exciting opportunity is available for a registered nurse to join the Senior Nurse Practitioner of the Out of Hours team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic senior band 6/7 nurse with knowledge and experience in acute care settings to support and lead the Out of Hours team within Manchester Royal Infirmary. This is a clinical role and will not involve bed management.
This opportunity is for a highly motivated registered general nurse to join the Out of Hours team. This post has both a clinical and a managerial component. You will work to maximize overall responsibility for the safe and efficient care delivery, ensure patient safety is adhered all times. You will provide leadership, clinical advice and support to all care areas.
The successful candidate will have been required to have a broad clinical experience, having recently worked within an acute hospital setting. They will have required management experience at band 6/7. The post holder must have proven abilities to provide/manage advanced nursing care, including emergency management skills. You will need good communication, organisational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work on your own initiative in a pressured environment. This is both a challenging and rewarding role.
The team operates every night, including weekends and bank holidays, with twilight shifts starting at 4 p.m. throughout the week and 24-hour cover on weekends and bank holidays.
